Intermediate Trainer Reaccreditation (BILD ACT Certified)

Overview

This intensive two-day refresher course reaccredits those who have achieved a full pass on the Intermediate Train-the-Trainer (BILD) course within the last 15 months to continue teaching the Level One – 6 Hour and Level Two – 12 Hour courses for an additional 12-month period.

Who is this course for?

Anyone who wants to continue leading and supporting the delivery of training in positive behaviour support strategies in their organisation, and who holds a valid Intermediate Trainer certificate that is current, or which expired less than four months ago.

Learning Outcomes

Those who achieve a full pass will be accredited to deliver both the Level One and Level Two Positive Behaviour Support Courses, as a lead trainer, to employees of their single employer, within permitted trainer ratios. (A minimum of two trainers are required for staff training events for any number of participants up to 24.)

Key Course Information

Participants must have successfully completed a Positive Behaviour Support Intermediate Train-the-Trainer course within the previous 12 months.

Alternatively, an ‘Assist’ pass gained at a previous Intermediate Train-the-Trainer course can be upgraded to a full pass by attending an Intermediate Train-the-Trainer Reaccreditation course.

Venue, lunch and refreshments are included in the course costs. Participants must arrange and cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
