Due to popular demand, we’re repeating this webinar to support new teachers, support staff, trainee teachers, and those considering the profession.

One of the most challenging parts of teaching can be understanding and supporting student behaviour, particularly if you’re new to your career.

We’ll be discussing how we can support children and young people’s behaviour in the classroom, from establishing rules and boundaries, to building relationships with your students, and understanding behaviour as a form of communication.

Join Team Teach trainer and experienced teacher, Anna Gregory, as she talks about how to develop an approach to behaviour support in your classroom which will meet individual needs and help everyone to feel safe and able to learn.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss:

  • What we mean by ‘behaviour as communication’ and why it’s important to understand why we’re seeing a behaviour.
  • Creating rules and boundaries, with practical strategies you can use for difficult transition points and to get the attention of your class.
  • How to build strong relationships with your students.
  • How to work effectively with parents/carers to talk about behaviour in a positive way to create strong home-school partnerships.

We hope you can join us!
